Finalists announced in Star Wine List of the Year UK with The Buyer

The 2025 Star Wine List of the Year UK with The Buyer Awards looks to recognise and reward the restaurant, hotel, bar and pub operators that are putting their wine offer at the heart of what they do. Today we announce the finalists in this year's awards across both the international and UK-specific categories ahead of the final awards ceremony to be held at the Winemakers Club in London on March 3. Thanks go to all those who entered, our category partners and the efforts of our judging team in helping to pick out the finalists.

The Star Wine List of the Year awards celebrate the greatest wine lists in the world – and the teams behind them. At Star Wine List of the Year UK with The Buyer, Gold Stars will be awarded in 12 categories and winners in the international categories will qualify for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final.

In addition to the regular international categories, this year’s event includes local categories for Best Italian Wine List (sponsored by Ceretto), Best Spanish Wine List (sponsored by Familia Torres) and Best Rosé Wine List (sponsored by Miraval).

The Buyer

The judges for the 2025 awards includes Queena Wong, Jan Konetzki, Stephen Wong MW and Nina Jensen.

All of the entries have been closely analysed by our judging panel that includes: Stephen Wong MW; Nina Jensen; Jan Konetzki; and local expert, Queena Wong.

Krister Bengtsson, Star Wine List’s Founder and Publisher, says: “Even though our wine list celebrations have spread like wildfire and we now do 19 events across four continents, our UK awards are really something else.”

Richard Siddle, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Buyer, adds: "The finalists once again show the quality and diversity of restaurants, hotes, bars and restaurants that are making wine such an important part of their offer.
